We evaluate every brand through a strict multi-step process:

  • Fragrance policy: No synthetic fragrances—ever.

  • Transparency: Full ingredient lists, no loopholes.

  • Sourcing: Ethical, sustainable, and cruelty-free.

  • Performance: Products must actually work, not just claim to be “natural.”

Only a small percentage of brands meet our criteria.

We strictly avoid ingredients linked to irritation, hormone disruption, or environmental harm, including:


  • Synthetic fragrance + “natural fragrance” blends

  • Parabens

  • Phthalates

  • Sulfates (SLS/SLES)

  • PEGs + ethoxylated ingredients

  • Petrochemicals

If an ingredient raises a red flag, we don’t carry it.

  • Non-toxic: Proven to avoid harmful effects on the body.

We ban over 2,000+ questionable chemicals and enforce tighter fragrance and sourcing standards than any major retailer. If it’s not something we’d feel safe using in our own homes, we don’t sell it.
