We evaluate every brand through a strict multi-step process:

  • Fragrance policy: No synthetic fragrances—ever.

  • Sourcing: Ethical, sustainable, and cruelty-free.

Only a small percentage of brands meet our criteria.

We strictly avoid ingredients linked to irritation, hormone disruption, or environmental harm, including:

  • PEGs + ethoxylated ingredients
  • Petrochemicals
  • Artificial dyes

If an ingredient raises a red flag, we don’t carry it.

These terms get used interchangeably, but they’re not the same:

  • Natural: Derived from nature, but not always safe or non-toxic.
  • Non-toxic: Proven to avoid harmful effects on the body.

Cleanse focuses on products that meet all three, without loopholes or marketing tricks.
